Google is creating tools to help users discover if their ISP is shaping or throttling their bandwidth.

Apparently when the Net Neutrality debate sparked up, there was a meeting at Google where they discussed the implications, and they almost did nothing, feeling that they had plenty of money to pay ISPs, and that it would help them because smaller sites and startups wouldn’t be able to foot the bill.

Fortunately for us, there are enough people at Google aren’t evil, and they are fighting to allow us unbiased access to the web.
