According to the Australian Financial Review, an anonymous source claims that Telstra lost the iPhone because it wanted to pre-install Sensis apps on the phones.

I hope they can get their act together before July 11th, ‘cause I’m not a patient man when it comes to phones, and I have already waited over 6 months.
